By downloading, installing, or using Sentence Archive ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Sentence Archive is a mobile application that allows users to save, organize, and translate sentences. The App offers both free and premium subscription tiers with different features and limitations.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Premium Subscription

Sentence Archive offers a Premium subscription with the following benefits:

• Unlimited sentence storage (Free tier: 10 sentences)
• Cloud sync across all devices
• Ad-free experience
• Priority customer support

4.2 Subscription Terms

• Price: $2.99 per month
• Billing: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Renewal: Subscription automatically renews monthly unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings at any time

4.3 Free Trial

If offered, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create and save in the App (your sentences and translations). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.

You agree not to upload or create content that:

• Violates any laws or regulations
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains harmful, offensive, or inappropriate material

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Use automated systems to access the App
• Share your account with others

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Sentence Archive and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SENTENCE ARCHIVE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
